Frensh Toast



Frensh Toast Ingredients:

3-4 slices white bread
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp white sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp unsalted butter, for cooking

powdered sugar, for dusting
maple syrup, for drizzling

Frensh Toast Directions:

- In a large shallow mixing bowl, crack 2 large eggs, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp white sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Mix till well combined and set aside for now.
- Place a large pan over medium heat and melt in 2 tbsp of unsalted butter.
- Soak each slice of bread for 10 to 20 seconds on each side in the egg mixture, you want the bread to absorb a good amount of the egg mixture.
- Add 2-3 pieces of bread at a time. sauté for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown, and lightly crisp.
- Right before serving sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the warm French toast. Serve with maple syrup.
