Mashed potatoes one of the most famous dish or side dish, you can serve it with meat or vegetables. Today I will walk you through a very easy recipe for a super creamy and delicious classic mashed potato, this dish is absolutely perfect addition in Thanksgiving with a Turkey or with any BBQ dish, my family love this creamy mashed potatoes with a chicken balls.
Ingredients:
Serving size 6-8 people
4 big Gold Potatoes (3 lbs./1300g)
1 1/2 stick Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
1 cup Hot Milk
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Directions:
- Peel and cut the potatoes up into small cubes, then place them into a pot. Fill the pot with cold water and place it over medium-high heat and bring them to a boiling heat then lower the heat, simmer the potatoes for 20-30 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender (the water must be cold so everything will reach boiling at the same time).
- Drain the potatoes and place them in a bowl. Mash them into puree while they are steaming, you can use the stand mixer to make your job easier and produce smoothest result.
- Add the melted butter, and the warm milk. Season it with salt and black pepper, mix all together till you will have a creamy soft texture. Serve in a bowl or plate with your favorite dressing, as gravy or simply with chopped parsley, and enjoy the heaven bites.
